Poll: Tolex Options.

Ok Fretboarders, example pics are below.

which colour combo do you prefer for a re-tolexing of my cab. I'm genuinely 50/50 on this.

Finished cab will look similar to the cab I've also posted after the colour combos. Head shell will be solid purple.

Purple/Black/Orange.

Purple/Cream/Orange.

And will be done in the style of:

My cab dimensions aren't far off the one above.

The Purple/Black/Orange was my original idea, then cream was suggested to me and i thought "mm, maybe"

The cream was mocked up today and I thought Nice.

The black was also mocked up as an after thought. Then the builder, who'd suggested the cream, actually might just prefer the black by a small amount

So I don't know anymore.

I'm like 0.5 of a % tipped toward the black myself, but that's not enough to decide.

It's gona be black on orange

Ran this poll in a few groups and forums. Totting up all the polls, it actually came out more or less 50/50, so I've gone with my gut and chosen black because that was my original idea. Also lighter colour like creams and greys show up grubbiness more.

I do think they both look great however.

For me black is the better choice but only for the grubbiness reason you said, Either way it's going to look amazing, can't wait for pics! Cheers

Yeah, Soldano aesthetics are hot rod muscle car inspired, so that's what I was going for.

Could be the hood of an old Charger or Camaro.

The black grill on the SLO should sit well against the black stripes.
