Made in UK rigs

It sometimes feel like we don’t have much British pride these days, but I just did a gig playing a Feline Lion through an MJW Goldstar into a Zilla Mini Modern cab (with a neo creamback).

Loved my sound and very proud of my homegrown setup.  We do have some very skilled people around!

Anyone else using a UK built rig?

I was using a Cornford Hellcat with a Vanquish Legend, Zilla 2x12 and Thorpy pedals for a few years if that counts. I would love a Rift amp next though.

    My rig includes
    - Hudson Broadcast
    - Magnetic Effects White Atom
    - KaBL cables
    - MJW Roadstar
    - Sequis Motherload Elemental
    - Zilla 2x12

I'll admit there's a lot of non-UK stuff in there too, starting with my guitars (Japanese, Mexican) ... but those are sporting Oil City and BKP :)

Most of the big stuff that I did was with a vanquish and a laney!

Happy to say I’m using my own made guitars, zilla can, Thorpy pedals, ash and alder pedalboard en route... just need to get myself a Rift (main amp is a Lonestar).

    Nice!

I’d love to add something made by me to the rig.

Dont have the knowledge to do a guitar or amp but a cab build is on my 2019 to do list.

Mini Jubilee, not sure if the greenback is UK made. My 2 pedals are an OD and a fuzz built by me from Fuzzdogs kits. If that counts.

I bet there's still something chinese in these 'british pride rigs', in the end it is the sound that really matters most, and durability 2nd.

It’s ok, I do acknowledge that not all the parts come from the UK.  Just the same as the US builders probably have to buy stuff in from all over the world.

Just pride in the quality of the craftsman we have here and their skill in putting the components together!

The only British made I have is my Lazy J, which is made by an American.

Guitars are all American but I guess the Taylor GS mini is Mexican, all the pedals are American, the boards too, I think the THR-10 is Japanese?
