Just came across it on youtube. He's playing the same riffs as he does on the Andertons channel, and the same comments too.

Kris here (Thomann)! Rob is an old friend of ours and he visits us every now and then. Also Rob and Lee are business partners of Thomann -> Chapman guitars. Yes, there is competition in this business too and obviously everyone has interests and goals. But there’s one thing I never came across seeing behind the scenes: hatred and disrespect. I don’t want to disappoint anyone but all the conspiracy theories are unfounded and pretty funny. :-)

He's clearly not working for Thomann - he's doing the rounds selling his guitars. Which is fair enough, and remember Lee is a parner in the business.

I found it quite inoffensive and impartial.  I thought the modern LPC sounded best, is that a 490R+498T?  They sounded really good, I regret selling my '94 Studio with ebony board with those pups, was still experimenting with different guitar styles at the time.  It was a featherweight and had a massive neck

Fair enough. Sounds like a pretty good attitude.

I quite like the chappers captain videos, and it was very weird to see basically the same set up and jokes with but for a different company

I’d never heard of him before he started doing the Andertons videos on YouTube. I quickly got bored with the Captain & Chappers video style but he’s very capable of producing a good guitar demo. Good luck to him.
