I keep coming back to this band as I find they satisfy me on so many levels.
I mean, look at what's going on in this live performance. Strong song with plenty of dynamics/light & shade. Strong vocals, 3 guitarists playing different parts and not getting in each other's way and ever-changing sounds and a thorough working of the guitar's controls and all whilst singing for a couple of them! And the bassist and drummer aren't too shoddy.
They can also do the poppy thing - this one has a Killer's vibe -
They should've been bigger and I know they have a few fans on here. I was recently chatting to some industry people who had been at, or were involved with Ian Thornley clinics and they said that hands down, he's the best guitarist they've ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of.

Few years ago during the Ghosts tour, I couldn't believe my eyes when they suddenly announced a few gigs in Germany. Flew over to see them in Berlin and it was AMAZING. Even though it was a super small club and there were less than 30 people in attendance, the show was mind-blowing, almost 2 hours of songs, extended solos, etc. They sounded huge and even better than recorded. Easily one of my top 5 live shows of all time.

Sometimes I think about shifting my PRS and my Suhr Standard for just the one Modern.. one to rule them all. Simplicity!

BTW not keen on the "pop" stuff Big Wreck do - forget the pop!
