Chilling on a Sunday afternoon listening to the radio and had a thought, what would be the state of music if broadcasters including YouTube Spotify etc were banned from playing music which was written by deceased writers? So no covers of old songs just music written by a still living person

There'd be no Zappa on the radio, so for me nothing would change and I still wouldn't listen to the radio.

I only listen to TalkSport, and - with the possible exception of Alan brazil - they don't tend to broadcast much by dead people.
