Good Morning Fbers 
i have checked with @Bridgehouse and he says its cool to pop this up. 

Last year myself and a mate done the 72 holes in a day golf challenge for Cancer Research, this year its for McMillan Cancer Support, i couldn't move for about 3 days after lasts years one,16 hours of solid walking with hitting a ball ( generally in the wrong direction) is harder than it sounds. We raised £1200 last year but only had 7 weeks of fund raising time, this year we are aiming for doing this on June 21st so we have a wee bit more time and would like to get past £1500. Thanks in Advance guys

That's a serious undertaking, kudos to you. I've played 36 holes in one day before, and I was young and fit, and that ruined me for a day or two.

One Complaint about the Macmillan setup, with the Cancer Research one last year it updated in real time, when there was a donation there was an update email sent to us, with this one there is no update ever it seems

Been on the web site: It looks like your mate is expecting to lose a lot of balls. I hope he has a powered trolley to carry that lot around  - or will he lose them on the first nine?

Yep, £0.00 raised so far is not what folk want to see.

Anyway, I'm happy to donate but don't like having to give all my details to add to the organisation's database. Can we not just ppg you a donation that you then pay to them in due course?

@Jimbro66 having played many rounds of golf with Big Steve, he hits the ball a country mile, but not always in the direction it’s supposed to go :-) so yes he will be losing a few balls that day I suspect, I have played my last 6 rounds with the same ball but don’t hit it nearly as far as him with a driver. 

If course donation anyway you orefer is great mate whatever whatever works for you.

I was more interested in who got to decide the monetary value that mikeyrob73 would then be chipping in to the charity pot for the favour received. Is it based on the level of sacrifice required on behalf of the favour provider, or the degree of, erm, satisfaction received by the favour recipient?

The public have a right to know!
