Getting a refund on extra baggage no longer required - 'the computer says no'.....

WolfetoneWolfetone Frets: 1479
I booked a trip to Hamburg with Aer Lingus yesterday believing that I needed extra baggage. It cost me €70. Today, I discovered that I no longer need to bring the bag and was looking to get my €70 refunded. My flight is on the 1st April so the service hasn't been fulfilled.

Anyhow, long story short....T's & C's say no.

The question is, don't the Consumer Contracts Regulations (distance selling regs) demand that I am entitled to a refund? I thought that I was entitled to a cooling off period?

Any legal experts around?
