My Dual FS Hudson Broadcast has basically 1% output, if that.

It's been in its shipped bag and never even put on a board or gigged, so its absolutely immaculate.

I've finally got into a band and I want to use it this next weekend to record some basic stuff with them.

I went to try it this weekend on its own, straight after using the power supply with a Thorpyfx pedal, and it's got no signal.

Bypassed works fine. The LEDS light up. but zero volume or sound unless you crank EVERYTHING to 100% and then you can JUST hear a tiny noise coming out (sounds out of phase)

I've contacted @NorthernStomps and obviously I know I'll be sorted out by them or Hudson, but it IS weird....I'm stupidly careful with pedals and gear....is this just back luck?

EDIT: Taken Ytube vid down out as it is no doubt a one off and I don't want anyone to think this happens a lot if they search!

EDIT: Fresh replacement already on it's way directly from Hudson.

It’s got internal trim pots that are maybe turned right down

Has it took a fall,  Maybe one of the transistors has come out of place?

Probably just a 1 in a 100,000 case of bad luck. These things are extremely well built

Well get it sorted, no problems

I see the problem, it's that boss katana.
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Just one of those things. Occasionally something goes wonky. I'm sure Hudson will have it sorted quicksmart. Great ped.

Just a bit of bad luck, Hudson stuff is very well made.

Probably something simple, I'm sure it will be fixed very quickly :)

As expected, Nothern Stomps and Hudson are on it already.

I put this post up thinking I might have been doing something wrong! You never know...

Anyway, what I can say is that when I opened the pedal up to see if I could see any signs of anything loose, it is gloriously well put together. Very neat and tidy.

No doubt it's just bad luck.

@NorthernStomps and Hudson have provided a great service.

I have a replacement on its way and they will investigate the issues with potentially faulty one.

    Cheers!
