I recently acquired a Strymon Volante and wasn't sure whether I would keep it at first because I think this thing sounds better. It definitely sounds more like a real Binson to me. At least, it sounds more like my idea of what a Binson is supposed to sound like, given that I've never heard a real one in person, only on youtube. 

However, the functionality of the Strymon is what won out so I'm putting this nearly new Echosex 3 up for sale.  It comes with box and will be sent via Special Delivery for £249 PPG. SOLD (on eBay)

    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
