These came out in the 80s and I'm looking for one of these rare-ish pedals that works perfectly, no switching issues.
Cosmetic condition is less of an issue but most that I've seen have been pretty clean with just a few scratches.
A mate has one that's just perfect and is Serial No 001628 and it's the best octave pedal I've come across and I'm using it for bass. Having played a few other OC-7s, they can differ and are not as much to my liking, so anything close to that number or lower would be great.
Cheers

Good luck with your quest.
I just need to prise the one out of my mate's hands
I got fed up with my pedals and just used the octaver in the OD channel of the amp. It was really glitchy and something different.
If you don't find a Pearl, I highly recommend the TC.
For reference, I've had an EBS Octabass, MXR, Aguilar Octamiser, the one's in the Zoom units I had were pants and the Boss OC-2 was probably one of the better ones, in terms of tone, but it was not without its glitch issues.
I love mine, but; different strokes and all that...
Best of luck with your search!
