  • Erm...  they already moved into it with their Fortin amp sims.

    Bye!

  • Yeah, they moved in and pretty much owned the high gain plugin market from release one IMO.

  • If it's of any use to anyone I think this referral link would give 10 euros off to new customers from any Neural product.  http://neuraldsp.refr.cc/maxm87

For full disclosure I'd also get 10 euro credit, so we'd both win :)

    Cool.

I don't really pay much attention to guitar stuff! :D

You can just use the license manager and authorise your machine.

But ilok's are fine, unless you're out of USB ports.  I'd much rather use ilok than not... authorising a load of licenses on a new machine takes forever if it's not on ilok.

Just downloaded the free 14 day trial of the PLINI sim - more out of curiosity than anything. I've had SGear for a while and dabbled with it but never quite got a tone I was happy with. However 10 mins with this and I've got a couple of clean / dirty presets which I've noddled away on for the last couple of hours.

I was a little sceptical given the Fortin type stuff I've heard on YouTube but this is something quite special IMHO.

Just seen Bea demoing here on his channel - gives you a good idea of the tones

  • I’ve been demoing the Plini sim today. It does cover different ground to the Fortin sims. The high gain channel is pretty smooth with nice attack, makes sense it was designed by a guy who plays a lot of lead. The cleans and mid gains are good. Overall I like it.
