Sorted: Rowin/Mooer Trelicopter

Before I go splashing out £20/30 on a new one, has anyone got a trelicopter tremolo about?

I have the Rowin and it’s not a good trem imo: even at the strongest setting (where it boosts signal significantly and produces some noise) it is a weak, shallow trem.  I only use it in conjunction with a second trem to make a complex texture, by itself it isn’t fit for purpose.

I've got a Donner "Golden Tremelo" that doesn't get much use. I think it's the same unit?

Thanks @drofluf @mixolyd think I’m going to take @markv up on his Boss TR-2. I’ve owned it before but it’s solid and doesn’t have patchy reviews like I’ve seen for the trelicopter. Hopefully that’ll scratch my itch/stop me buying a Flint or Mobius!

Ha @jellybelly - one of the things I'm trying to raise funds for is a Flint ... ;-)

I’ve considered the TR 2 also, just haven’t been sure if it has the newer, better Boss buffer.  I once had the old RC 20 looper and the buffer was a tone destroyer.
