If I had money (of which I do absolutely not) then I'd take the Telecaster. Really like the distressed look and the raw steel parts.

I think Viz had it sussed. " Save money on Game of Thrones Boxsets by watching porn at ten minute intervals during Lord of the Rings "

    Yes, it’s quite Stark.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

I think Fender CS have gone too far this time...  "Hi Mr. Curleigh, have you seen what those cheeky chappies are up to?"

I'll say it. I quite like them. I certainly wouldn't spend the money even if I somehow had that much disposable income, but they're fun and different and I suspect fascinating up close. Gaudy, over the top, but seeing as they're one-offs there's no harm.

    Dracarys.
    Seconded.

  • Far more appealing (to me) than a brand new, multi-thousand pound guitar that's been set about with razors and worse to make it look like something it's not. Each to their own.  :)

Not keen on the Fenders, but I rather like the vibe of those Hutchinsons.

  • Glad to see Fender have taken Gibson's place in producing tacky limited run guitars.

Not many using the razor technique to emulate checking these days. That was more 1990's.
This is what a decent relic finish looks like, not the sort you find on Ebay.....

The method was coincidental to my point, but thanks for the technology update.  ;)

What about ones that look and work the same as 1 thousand pound guitars and the extra couple of grand was making sure the glue, capacitors, wire etc. Was the same kind they used in the 50s?

I like that Lannister Jaguar- that is very OTT.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Oh dear, I didn't mean to derail the thread like this.  Again, not what I would choose to spend my money on.

One 'Spider-Man' Peavey* and my coat, please... =)
