Yamaha Revstar RS820CR Rusty Rat - SOLD

I bought this lovely guitar from @bad_alice back at the beginning of February but as nice as it is it appears that all my forays into humbucker land lead to the same conclusion, that actually I’m a single coil guy and my mate in the band has the humbucker sonic ground covered.

A couple of mods to mention: the push/pull pot for the (highly usable) Dry Switch has been changed to a push/push - it’s a mod I do to all my guitars because I find it an easier, faster way to “pop” between switching options and the high gloss neck has been lightly sanded for a more satin feel - doesn't go through the paint though. . It's in great nick with a tiny bit of buckle rash on the back but otherwise in top condition.
Comes with gig bag.
I’m listing this for £450 which is what I paid.

Hello. Couple of questions on this if I may?

What would your completely non-scientific and subjective view of how fat/round the neck is be? I played a couple at the London Guitar Show and liked them but was a bit unsure about the necks being a tad chunky. Could potentially risk it on a used one from a trusted forum seller...

Is the sanding on the back of the neck obviously identifiable by sight?

Is postage a possibility? I'm in SE London, so not ideally located for Lancashire (though I did read the planes, trains and automobiles story of your collection of the guitar, so I won't expect any sympathy about that...).

Oh, sorry - one more: would you mind explaining the push/push mod on this guitar? How does that work and could it be restored to the original push/pull easily if desired?

@Clecko hi there.
The neck shape is a nice C profile. Not as full as either my 52ri tele or Roadworn Strat, but nearer these than anything skinny like an Ibanez.  In the ballpark of a USA Std strat I used to own.
Nut width is 43mm, 12th fret is 53mm
The back of the neck, when held up in daylight is matt. It’s been very well done, cleanly taped at the top and bottom and the gloss lightly taken off.
The Only difference to the original push/pull is the switch has been changed to a push/push for easier use. Instead of needing to grip and lift the knob, you simply push it down and it pops into the up position. Push it down again and it returns to the down position.
As for postage I’ll drop you a pm. It’s not something I’m keen to do, but may be able to sort another solution.

Bah, you beat me to the punch when you bought this from @bad_alice earlier this year, couldn't quite scrape the funds together. Alas, still don't have the funds available now it's up for sale again.

Not particularly chunky.
Feels a lot like a generic Fender neck.
Yamaha lists specs as follows
Width at nut - 43mm
Width at 12th fret - 52.5mm
Thickness at 1st fret - 21.1mm
Thickness at 12th.fret - 25.2mm

In feel it's quite close to my mates American Professional Strat.
