Why not just buy a Wilkinson Vintage trem, Steel block and push fit arm

I recommend Kevin Hurley's blocks. They come with a (I think) teflon socket that holds the arm better than a Fender spring. He'll make you whatever you need in a variety of metals. Cheaper than Callahan and every bit as good.

Clearly CS quality is up there with the best  :o  But seriously, if the arm has threaded/stripped, then the block might not be OK, so why not just replace the unit as @sweepy suggested?

There's a Kevin Hurley block in the classifieds at the mo.  Might fit.

I got mine from eBay, there's loads of choices on there. Mine is very good quality.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

Not sure he is still making any - I've used them in the past - Not purchased any recently, but I was told he has called it a day - Update if you know further

I think you misunderstood me, i want to replace the block and arm because they are threaded, appreciate not everyone rates CS stuff but i like the fender vintage look and sound

@adampeter ;I've had a few from Kev Hurley and they are excellent, and great value for money, but if you want CNC precision get a Callaham one. Alternatively the Fender US AVRI ones are available (block and arm sold separately), e.g.

I’ve had both Callaham and Kev Hurley blocks and they are as good as each other, I.e. excellent.  The arms aren’t push-in but there is a nylon insert that removes any slop at all
