If you put something in the wrong section, it's easy to move it yourself via the cog icon top right > edit there's a drop down menu  :)

The problem is that you need to have the pickguard made, *then* anodised, otherwise the edges won't be...

Ah-ha! So what do I make it out of, and where would I take it to get it anodised? And is it cost effective to do that, or just look forra one for sale? I know I'm being lazy (drinking, my bad) as the answers will be out there, just thought I could get a one shot bolt of info' from them in the know on here.

Yeh, not sure if that edit thing works on phones.

And ICBM is right about anodising after all the machining is done, so either buy ready made or find a nice friendly anodising company.  The finishing needs to be excellent to look good though.  A good company should be able to sand blast or satin finish, maybe with polished edges.

The pickguard material is aluminium, it's easy to find sheet on eBay.

You need to cut your pickguard then send it somewhere like http://www.anodising.com/ to get it anodised.

Look around your nearest industrial estate there may well be a metal finishing company locally. As GM says Aluminium is what you want.

Get H30 or 6082 grade aluminium (same thing); the normal over-the-counter grades are very soft... H30 is the old name for the grade, but still used, so look for either/both.
6082 / H30 is hard/brittle, will stay flat when cut & filed & drilled, I've used this before to make plates. Your common or garden soft ally will bend & move all over the place. But check the 6082 takes anodising OK.
