Avengers Endgame - think I just saw a spoiler gif :-/

Posted as a comment on an entirely unrelated Facebook thread was a gif - one that needed a tap to animate - the first image was unrelated too but once tapped an apparent Endgame spoiler played followed by the text “spoiler!”

If you’re planning on seeing the film, might be worth not tapping any gif comments in case it is real

Urg. All because someone is too much of a knobhead to wait til more than 15 people have seen it. Though not surprising considering how many knobheads have internet access

I guess I'll be staying off the internet till after I've seen it.

Cheers for the heads up, will let my wife know. I mean, we both like the films but she’s “into” Marvel and on Facebook, I’m more of a casual fan (apart from “Logan” which was 10/10 in my book) and aren’t so I’m less likely to be disappointed than her.

I know it’s a superhero film etc etc, but some people are really big fans and have spent a lot of time on the movies over the years, it’s the height of prickishness to ruin it for them. Tbf I applaud Marvel for actually “concluding” the story when they could just keep either churning out films or leaving it unfinished. It’s not like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings where the endings were common knowledge prior to the last film.*

* never seen or read HP, but based on my assumptions etc etc

The last one was part 17 and Endgame is #21 (if I’ve contend correctly) so it’s fair to say lots of us have a pretty chunky level of emotional engagement with all of this

Saw a spoiler on the front page of youtube first thing this morning. I didn't even have to click it, the video title was the spoiler and was in my recommended videos =\

No it's not. Just don't go on social media. Limit yourself to just the fretboard. Use that "scrole impulse" to stay on the forefront of the classifieds. Buy all the things. No money for cinema tickets. That way even the film can't spoil the ending.
