she sounds pretty good actually. The weak point in the chain is me.

I've got the bigger brother - the 60W version. Sounds really good.

Hardly used it. Was an insurance replacement for my wife's bass amp destroyed in a flood, but she's not played bass since then.

I need to get a simple practice amp for bass too, sometime.

I would be interested in your impressions of it.

Has to be better than just playing electric bass acoustically !

initial impressions are favourable. Good volume for home use yet still manages to sound full and thick (if that makes sense). Got some nice features as well, line in for a CD player and a line out to go to a PA.

I bought one of those for the youngest lad and it's a great little practice tool. The bigger ones are better though.
