whilst we wait for mrs f's next round of treatment to start I find myself with a fair bit of free time on my hands (self employed, lost several clients recently and until I know when I'll be free not happy taking on long term jobs) so I've been filling some of the time watching science type youtube stuff, so am after some recs for more please. Currently enjoying people like curious droid, Seeker, V101 science, jimiticus.
These are mostly ''space'' based stuff, so would like to see more stuff like climate science, evolution etc etc.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

My YouTube viewing is non scientific ( a lot of eating challenges lately...) although I subscribe to Knowing Better which has a mix of American politics, psychology and looking at historical ( primarily American) subjects. It’s a bit of a random mix but he’s an intelligent, engaging presenter.

I love the Kurzgesagt channel. It has the feel of the 'Book' from Hitchhikes guide to the galaxy TV series - everything is superbly animated. Probably my single fave YouTube channel.

I love this guys channel.  https://www.youtube.com/user/kathodosdotcom

Half of his posts are about cameras (yawn), but the other half is about magnetism, what magnetism and electricity really is, and how messed up the modern scientific world really is.

He rants on in his own vernacular, shouting to the camera at times, but he’s engaging and informative, and a bonafidey savant.

I believe eve most of our modern scientific world view to be utter nonsense, built on flawed mathematics, with unsupported theories supporting other.

I subscribe to the electrical universe model, Relatively can kiss my ass

Anyway, this guy is great.  Enjoy.

SFIA (Science & Futurism with Isaac Arthur) - one of the few channels where I've seen every episode and did a collab with Curious Droid. There are channels that essentially rip him off (Joe Scott) and others like CodysLab and Fraser Cain who are clearly in awe of him.

Applied Science - a Google engineer doing various side projects. The science can be a little full-on.

Cold Fusion - lots of 'in-depth look at ...'  Aussie guy who has to have one of the most soothing voices going.

Real Engineering - does what it says on the tin.

AvE - Tool/gadget reviews and breakdowns. A lot of salty language and jokes but he is quite funny and knows his stuff.

I was wondering if this chap would come up.

Your belief of the modern scientific view is built on the fact that you can't see it - that doesn't make it untrue. He does discuss magnetism a lot, but that doesn't say anything about relativity.

Interesting chap, though... I'd not say he was a savant.

Clicked and went "ahhhh that makes sense, and yes.....or a complete NO rather..."
