Mine would be as follows, they are not necessarily my favourite at each but I think they would work well as an ensemble

    Jack White on Drums
Ray Manzarek on keys (from the Doors)
Geoff Gascoigne on double bass (from Jamie Cullum's band, also a brilliant arranger)
Nick Zinner on guitars and synth (Yeah Yeah Yeahs)
Vocalist is tricky, either Jeff Buckley or Julian Casablancas, or if I'm allowed dual vocals I'll have Jeff Buckley and the woman from Curved Air
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

    Drums: Bill Ward
    Bass: Andy Fraser
    Guitar: Robert Fripp
    Guitar 2: Alex Lifeson
    Keys: Herbie Hancock
    Vocals: Bowie

    Produced by Brian Eno

    That’d sound quite interesting....

it was between ward and bonham on the drums - I think ward’s jazzy style would suit fripp and hancock’s playing better.  Eno, fripp and Bowie always seem to produce gold together so I had to include Eno in there as producer, perhaps throwing in a few keyboard parts in the studio.

    Band Name: Alchemy
    Album title: Transfusion (1979)
Year given as most artists were at their peak during this period

    i definitely overthought that.
