any drummers out there? WTB an electronic drum set for my nipper for not much money - what to buy

my son who is already a dab hand at playing rock guitar riffs n stuff is taking drum lessons.  

can anyone point me at electronic kits that will give him something to practice on which aren't "crap" but are also cheap (the usual dilemma) while he decides if he is going to be a drummer in the future

ebay links would be absolutely fine or a recommendation to by "tandy drums kits" for example

he is 16

Whereabouts are you based Nick? Friend of mine in Oldham / Manchester / Blackburn is selling a Roland HD1 V-Drums kit for £180 which would be about the best you'd get for that kind of money...
