Laney TT20 head/combo

Do any members have experience of these amps?
I mean actually playing through them, not just having an opinion.

    Hi @andyman ;
I have had a zero response apart from your recent 'bump' ;-)
My original enquiry was made in curiosity as to how such a really lovely sounding, flexible affordable amp could just disappear from sight & have no other users than myself here.
They were not a boutique amp (whatever that is) nor really mass produced.
Searching online brings loads of very positive opinions, but nothing here.
Do you happen to have experience of them or own one?

If you had lived nearer to me I could have been able to let you try them out.
Sadly, it seems you are in Cambridge... or Florence, Italy, so a wee bit away from me  ;)
Good luck searching if you decide to get one.

Oh, so you've actually got one? Care to tell the rest of the class how you find it? :-P
    Also, what's a good price?

I have several. I'll expand on the amp later.
More importantly, I just found this https://www.shpock.com/en-gb/i/W5-tlv-a1GcASMCu/laney-tt20-tube-head

An absolute bloody steal & I'd have it in a heartbeat it weren't too bloody far away, but it seems near to you :-D

I have one. I bought it for a steal on gumtree, thinking it would make a good backup amp. It had some issues - the fuse had become un-soldered from the PCB, but after I soldered it back it's been an absolute champ. In fact, I like it so much I've stopped using my Fender HotRod. If I ever see another one for sale, I'm going to buy it immediately - they really are that good.

I had one, and loved it - but had quite a few issues.  Luckily I'd bought it new from a shop, but although I liked the sound when working, I'm not sure how good the build quality is.

I've got a TT50 head version. I think it's a great sounding amp with plenty of sounds available. No idea what the MIDI stuff does though - way too complicated for me - I can barely spell it.

@Adey ;  Funnily enough I just saw your TT50 earlier today, in a post about your Westbury.
I have the TT100 Combo & apart from the foot switching I leave the MIDI stuff alone too  D
