Hi - actually the RC Bass Booster is very similar to the standard RC Booster. I believe the only difference is that the high EQ is voiced at 800Hz rather than 1.5KHz (and it's black and says Bass on it - which is either good or bad depending on your orientation). I've used it both on bass and guitar and had no issue with the lower voicing of the high EQ.
