    They're fucking ugly.
They really are but the features to size ratio is good. My Flashback X4 takes up 50% of my board so this definitely does appeal to me.

I sure @ICBM will love the footswitch design ;) ....
They don't look like regular momentary switches though - I assume they are soft touch buttons that activate a physical switch on a pcb much like a regular compact does.

I think they look alright tbh...the DD and MD models look really enticing. I do like the sizes and how the units can just sit next to each other. Just have to wait on the prices I suppose.

Might even undercut them a bit if the PMT prices are accurate.
A price war would be lovely!

The DD200 looks exactly what I’ve been after.
    80s digital readout - check
    Big knobs - check
    simple modulation controls - check
    No fucking menus - check

just need the digital delay sound to be as good as my old school DD3 as I find the dd7 etc too sterile.

And just noticed it doesn’t need 70000mA to power it!

Easy tiger...speaking aesthetically they'd be perfect for my board (the DD and MD) without taking up too much room. Will need to do a bit of research first but at the moment the DD looks perfect. The DD-500 I thought was too much for me (features not price) and this looks to be like an awesome upgrade to the DD-20.

I do really like my EHX Grand Canyon though...

It seems like a sensible ‘middle ground’ product line. I already have the dd500, Source Audio EQ and a bunch of nice drives on my board, so this one is a bit of a non-event for me. I can see the appeal though, especially the delay.

That pre release video was a bit misleading though wasn’t it? Maybe they have something else up their sleeve ?...

There is always something annoyingly wrong with most pedals; for me and the DD200 it's that the Dual mode has the delays in series rather than parallel (or even better, user-selectable). I like parallel delays a lot so that's quite annoying to say the least - I'm very keen otherwise. I wonder if it'll get firmware updates to change this sort of thing?

Has anyone noticed that the delay pedal has MEMORY MAN written on it? Electro Harmonix should be on their case!

    That's potentially very interesting.
    Basically an updated DD-20.
I really hope the Tape setting is the same as their RE-20 with all the multi heads and the crappy-but-great reverb.

if these are an update of the **-20 series as opposed to stipped back **-500's I wonder if there may be a RE-200 to come, along with RV-200. I guess both would be acceptable to release by themselves at a later date?

Still kills any interest I had in them stone dead.
