Nut Undersurface and Contact with Underlying Wood

I wonder if the second nut, with its flat undersurface offers any sonic advantage over the first - which contacts the underlying wood at only three points...?
Though I suppose if you wind up filing the second nut down on the undersurface, they would be three broad areas of contact...
