To hell with the guitar, a good inflatable mattress is one of the most important bits of kit for camping.

But then you inflict the neighbours with it, my little electric is just loud enough unplugged for me to hear....

I feel you. My last neighbour wondered what the tapping from my house was (not in a nasty way, just curious), and I'd no idea at all. Turns out it was the sound of my digital piano while using headphones. I'd no idea at all.

An axe (not the guitar kind!) and a foldable spade (for digging a toilet) are most important for me as I wild camp in woodlands and the like, keep the axe razor sharp and it'll do everything you need from chopping fire wood to gutting and skinning rabbits. I love wild camping/honing my bushcraft skills (I was homeless for a fair while and lived in a tent that meant I had to learn pretty quickly!). I'd love the luxury of taking a guitar but space is at a premium when I camp.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

Encore 3/4 size Strat type and EHX headphone amp, normal neck width, not the best but fine for me in our tiny Eriba Caravan, think VW van without the cab.

I've noticed that playing keyboard (synth keys, not even hammer keys) with headphones is actually louder in the room than electric guitar with headphones even though you can hear the notes from the guitar.
