Kevin got my aluminium block fabricated and shipped within 2 days and I just received it on the other side of the world (Malaysia). Really nice piece of hardware and the trem arm is nice and hefty. no play whatsoever in the trem arm slot. Very pleased.

He made me a brass one and a steel one for a vintage ('54) trem. I sadly don't use them so if anyone wants....

Does anyone know whether he makes replacement blocks for PRS SE vibrato bridges?

No idea, but there is currently a brass MannMade one for sale on fleabay.

Unfortunately, I suspect, that the Mannmade block will only fit US PRS vibrato baseplates. (The string and hole spacing on the SE version is 1mm wider. This is why FU Tone offers two sizes.) Both of my US PRS vibratos are the 1991-93 one-piece stainless steel variety. I happen to like them.

I realise that the aluminium block is significantly lighter, but how does it sound compared to a stock steel one (which I imagine you must have had before).

Is there an audible difference, and would you be able to tell with your eyes closed?

I got him to make me an aluminium one. But haven't installed yet. Gonna wait for my next string change, which may take awhile since I use elixirs! But I will report back.

Just installed it. Can't say I notice a difference in tone, but then again, I'm not one to get hung up on minute differences in tone. the stock block is 253g, the aluminium one is 98g. The arm feels very nice and responsive. All in all, guitar is slightly lighter and the trem feels great, so I'm pleased.
