Hi guys, ive recently joined the forum and ive been in the Nottingham music scene for a long while now. Recently ive just made a new band called OAN. We have a lot of stuff written (and recorded (all parts by me). Just wondering as an initial recording of the song, what do you guys think?
Feedback would be much appreciated, but dont be too harsh, its not the mix im looking for feedback on (its only a rough one :P ), so any feedback on the song itself would be much appreciated :)

Cheers guys! :)

It is not my style of music at all but it is good how the main riff is high on treble but the vocals are soft so a nice contrast. I also love the upbeat solo, simple yet catchy.

Nice to hear an original song as most music is just covers or glorified karoke singers!!!

    :D

Great song, the vocals are very Jake Bugg imo (fine by me) I would have liked more vocals in the last minute of the song. Really like the song though its ace!!

Ahh thanks guys! :) i think the jake bugg thing is just a typical Nottingham thing! hahah :P

I usually write a bit heavier than this () but it's nice to experiment with more things! :)
Ive literally been messing around with about 10 different genres and seeing what i can really enjoy playing/writing! :P Getting there, but its still not perfect! :P

Thanks :) all recorded in my small room with a DI box, a guitar, a mic and a hell of a lot of time spent on mixing and using pro tools/reason! :P I hope to get into a proper studio soon though! :)

I like it, would agree with @JAYJO about more vocals at the end/reducing the length of the tune.
