My mind wanders to the prospect of a bank holiday Monday which means I can possibly have a kitchen pass for Sunday night (if herself isn't on shift).

What are the prospects of a FB crowd surge at the Cambridge blues jam this week

I'll be at the Emperor on Hills Road this Sunday for the Blues Jam, 8.30pm start, there's parking behind the pub.

I won't be able to make in afraid. Just got back from holiday and tons to sort out. Plus I play in church so I'm generally not free on Sundays. Sounds fun though. Sorry I won't make it.

Which church, @handsomerik ? I used to be Director of Music full-time at St Andrew the Great in Cambridge, and still help out in the band occasionally

We'll have a keyboard there this Sunday. If I play that and someone from here plays bass, there'll be scope for four Fretboarders to play onstage at once!

I got a bass, but I play it like a guitar player... no bass amp tho'.
Is it OK to bring a filth pedal or a multi, and do I need to bring an amp?

They'll be plenty of filth pedals there already, so yes bring an extra one

One pedal is fine, multi's are a bit OTT for the blues jam and slow down the changeovers between 3-song sets. Likewise it's preferable not to bring your own amp - just use the Laney LC15s provided
