Open position Eb - doesn't include the 5th, so doesn't sound very full

Eb: xx1043

Open position Eb7 - sounds much better than Eb because the 7th fills out the sound

Eb7: xx1023

Some alternatives that use the open G string but go further up the neck - 

Eb: xx1046

Eb: x65046

Eb7: x65026 (requires a bit of an Allan Holdsworth-style stretch)

Any other useable Eb7 chords or extensions out there? xx1021 should work as an Eb9 but I don't think I've ever tried it.
