i think it would be better to make the challenge that you can only use C# and no other notes
That would be so much easier for me.

    :)

I've spent all afternoon trying to find something to link all three without any luck. I have a vague idea if I extend the Am7 to Am9 (adding a B) but I'm still not really feeling anything. Do we have to use all three chords?

Nah leave it!  I've already got my idea.

Can you just list the notes we're allowed to play to avoid any arguments?

Otherwise if this is going to be too hard to police, why not just say make a track using only these three chords in any order?

Can you make something workable using the original chords though? I am not a good enough guitarist to really know.

I've been playing with them for a while and these are hard chords to write anything interesting with.

  • I am proposing changing to this which I think is quite nice with a bit of an edge.

Happy either way but the new one will work better.  The only way with the other one was to try and make use of the extreme dissonance.

  • Can anyone who has a musical brain PM me the notes in these three different chords please, music notation is not something I deal with well which is why I kinda wanted to avoid a challenge like this......
