NGD - USA Special Strat

If you'd seen any of my classified adverts, I was selling on two MIM Strats, both with Roland guts, I'd decided to have a bit of a clear out and re-invest the money in a USA Strat.

With the cheaper of the two guitars sold and very little interest in the VG Strat (enough eBay watchers, none even making an offer), I decided to part ex it with Coda.

Managing to avoid the EDL march in Stevenage today (most of the shops and pubs had closed! - the only one I could see open was full of lumpy looking types) I went in assuming that I would end up getting a USA Deluxe, I'd ruled out the Standard due to the pickups. In a similar vein to the Gibson thread the other day, I much preferred the cheaper of the two, the 'Special' felt and played better, also looked a lot cooler in Surf Green

The deal was done, even managed to get a second hand Fender hard case on the cheap

I have a yank Highway One strat at the moment with a large headstock and I'm really into it. Cheaper than the standard but suits me better. Win win.

Had one, had to sell it for financial reasons and everyday I regret it.
