Nik is doing a few acoustic gigs over the next few months, I am hoping to catch him at The Robin Wolverhampton.

Did a gig with him on sunday. His band (and badcat/PRS rigs) were top notch.

     Here was my view.

Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life

Saw Nick before he was famous, very introvert, head down player, long greasy hair but an excellent guitarist.
He worked hard and used his talent well. Respect.

There's a particular live acoustic version of Wouldn't It Be Good he did that blew me away a couple of years ago. Top work.

Same here - it was a really low-quality video, somewhere in Brighton. Just really, really well played with a great vibe about it.

Here we go. Lo quality vid but the quality of the song/performance shines through.
Strip away the 80s synth sheen and his true talent stands out.

Im Guitar Tech for the band on before. Only thing that saddened me was they were all using in ear monitors so stage volume wasnt great and vocals were very low where I was sat.

Never bothered with the music 'in the day' (God I hate that sentiment) but love hearing Kershaw on the radiogram. May have to purchase some vibes.......

    Yep he's awesome.

I saw him live at the peak of his fame, went along to keep my sister company. I seem to remember a surprising amount of guitar solos and enjoying it much more than I thought I would. Actually, he might remember me - several thousand screaming girls and one male headbanger looking out of place!
