Look at this - a kit that MJT listed but which has now ended. Looks awesome IMO.   Was watching very closely.

Now thinking, what about one of those kits, in heavily checked but non dinged surf sea foam green, deep tinted maple neck, matching headstock, black guard, TV jones neck rout.... maybe even a bigsby...

Perhaps needs a reverse headstock too.

See, I like that. I also like the Tele-Vee that RS Guitarworks do.

Complete paradise for the parts-a-caster-er this type of thing.

    Don't match the headstock tho.

A quick mockup of what's in my head, except with a reverse headstock (and a better paint job)!

Great colour, interesting shape. Definitely looks better with the reverse headstock. I prefer the headstock unpainted too.

Then again, this is your fantasy so what do I know?. :)

people please stop bolting tele hardware and necks on to other guitars. Just buy a fudging telecaster

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I think you'll find these are fudged telecasters.   B-)

MJT are about to start advertising their products to cater for sausage fingers soon! Have heard they've found inspiration from a certain Bearded British Butcher who has blown them away with his penchant for freaky deaky guitars.

Noooooo WHY MUST YOU DESTROY EVERYTHING THAT I LOVE?!?!

Firebird must NOT breed with Tele!!!

EDIT: That's because I love the Tele... not the Firebird. Firebird's OK. But this is blasphemy.

In my opinion, this is how it should be..

Makes my willy tingle although it suffers from a fuggly headstock too:

You may want to clarify which of the two you mentioned above suffers from a fuggly headstock

Telecasters are the best electric guitar ever made. They are also the ugliest electric guitar ever made. So you can hardly blame aesthetes for trying to correct this obvious oversight years later.

Alas, both I'm afraid @grungebob, that's why I buy pretty guitars, to try to divert the attention...

I must admit that I don't like the firebird bodied Tale idea, though. An LPjunior bodied Tele, if you insist on involving Gibson, surely makes the most sense. If I were doing my telestang thing again, I wouldn't use a tele headstock, either. CBS/JM headstock woulda been better. Ahhh well.

I like that! Maybe without the middle pickup for me.
But I like the OPs guitar, too.
