I got it sorted, had to load into the VST section, then when S1 starts it scans for new VST's .

Makes sense. Well glad you sorted it fella. Hopefully it'll be useful for you.

A few of my mates are using it since I gave them the heads up and they all report back saying some of the presets are very useable and they are all ProTools trainers, so hopefully if you build your own it'll be even better!

 I downloaded this last night and im not sure i got it all. I have the user Guide and Presets but cant find a dll file? 

I think it went to Vst2 steinberg or similar. Ive looked in both Programme and Programme (86).

How do i open this plugin? Will it work with Reaper?. I keep making a pigs ear with my downloads sorry!. 

 

Ive done some extensive research!!  ( read FAQ) .  It may be in Programme/common file/steinberg/VST2. Will have a look tonight.

Took me ages to find it (allthough i didnt think to use the manual).

All fired up in reaper but didnt have a chance to try it yet, anyone got any opinions on how it sounds?

well i found the file and ive copied and pasted it into every vst folder i can find and it still wont show in Reaper. Ive tried it manually into Reaper through preferences and still no joy. can i download it all again and see if that changes anything? ive had a look at the i lok account and i have 2 licenses not activated if that means anything!

You would think so but no- this is a free plugin that will continue working after July 8th.

It is a bit of a steal but I can see why Eventide are doing it- it brings more people into their fold and Eventide do some AMAZING plugins.

Blackhole is killer, I use it on everything.

What they will probably do is release an updated version down the line, maybe a year or two, that will cost something.

For now it is free to own provided you get in quick, after that you pay $250.

Go get it, it is a good plugin.

As per Oct's reply, it's fully functional with no expiry date and no nags. Already used it on a track for me latest challenge tune for "a different site" (BURN the heretic ). Seems to do what it says on the tin, and rather well

It has a nice compressor and the micro pitch is good.

I already have most of the functionality in H3000 Factory but it is worth it just for being able to move each section around within the plugin at will.

Very cool plugin.

I did like that function, switching the compressors and EQ around so easily is a really nice feature. Not sure how often I'll use it, but it's good to have the option. Comp>EQ>OP, or OP>Comp>EQ etc. It's like an easily configurable pedal board in a way
