Apart from the BC Rich V, I'd (ab)use them all.

I think the rising sun-finish Dean would be pretty much the ultimate hair metal guitar. It's actually the old signature model for Matt from Trivium, but I think it'd look much better in a Loudness tribute band (actually, it'd be PERFECT for that)...

I think you would have loved the 80s
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I think I would have as well... it was far less difficult to be paid lots and lots of money for playing fast guitar solos.

Whats the green one at the bottom.  That could be my mid-life crisis guitar?

It's a Schecter, the signature guitar for Kenny Hickey from Type O Negative. It's a baritone (they tuned down to B).

I want an Explorer but I look stupid with one.  I was so disappointed to find that out, back to traditional shapes for me...

The problem with the top two is the massive headstocks. With the bottom two it's the paint job.

I'll get Mark D Phillips Cleartone Conversions to put a Squier Strat neck on one of the B.C. Riches, would you be interested? :D

@impmann No I don't, although I did try out for one once...

I did too. When I finally got one I happened to catch sight of my reflection, and later that afternoon took it back to the shop and exchanged it for an Epiphone Casino! Duration of ownership- 3 hours including travelling time!

I used to rock a (borrowed) Epiphone '58 V with a pub covers band. In my case the checklist went something along the lines of:

Overweight 50+ year old blokes on "stage" in skanky pub - check.
    Ridiculous hat - check.
20th Century Boy or Get it On next in setlist - check.

Pick up pointy guitar from hiding place behind amp, sneak a crafty extra fraction of a turn on volume control, strike pose, aaannnnd......

    RAWK!

I'm pretty sure it fooled nobody but I enjoyed it and the punters were willing to indulge me so why the heck not? :-)
Don't ask me, I just play the damned thing...

For some reason, I also like the Heaffy ML. I prefer the Dean Z shape in general though. Love the massive head stocks. You get a mini (reverse) Flying V free with every guitar!

Looking for a USA Dean Z at the moment - very scarce in the UK.
