Hey guys,

Thinking of building a miniature board for my little Marshall. Any thought's on great reverb options?

Cheers
Lynden

    What type of reverb?

The TC and Hardwire ones are meant to be very good, and they're pretty reasonably priced too. :)

Good question.. I would say something between a spring and a hall reverb

I've had the TC Hall of Fame and a Hardwire Supernatural, both of which were excellent. I wanted something a bit simpler and now have a Hall of Fame mini. Just one knob makes it hassle free and there are so many reverb Toneprints it is easy addictive trying them all out.

I have the Hardwire reverb, it sounds great and puts a smile on your face.

But those HOF fames minis look good if you want it small and simple.

    Boss RV-5.

The Marshall Reflector is probably worth a look too :).

Depends how miniature you mean. I've got a Hall Of Fame and a Zoom MS70-CDR - both are compact and have really nice reverbs but the Zoom has a lot of delay and modulation effects too, giving you a lot of options for very little pedal board real estate. If we're talking very miniature, I reckon the HOF mini would be the ticket, based on my experience with its bigger brother.

The Digitech Digiverb is great quality - all the usual spring/plate/hall models with a couple of wackier ones. You can find used ones at bargain prices.

    neunaber stereo wet every time.

but for a real miniature I'd also opt for the TC HoF mini. TC have some very decent toneprints

Bought a Hall of Fame from here, very happy with it. Was interested in the HOF mini but I have a Windows phone and there's no app for that.

If you have a compatible phone the HoF Mini is excellent. I have one on my gigging board.

The HOF Mini is getting a lot of love. I do like the idea of a Neunaber. Thinking of building a Pedaltrain Nano, or the next size up… my main board is pretty big, so I could use this for smaller gigs or teaching :-)

Thanks for all your input guys

Ah Mr Jones! Is it collecting dust then?

I did try one of those, it's a lovely sounding pedal. I think I'm just having withdrawal symptoms from finishing the last board… I almost bought a Fender Jaguar this week, and picked up a Fulldrive 3 last week. Like the custom wasn't enough this month!!

I should have mentioned the reverb is for a Marshall 1w Custom Offset, not a little practise amp :-)
