I've got an idea for an event...

a jamming event...

a bit like fight club...

so musicians of all ilk turn up and go into groups to make bands...

a famous album is chosen and all the newly formed bands have to take one song from the album and use it as a jumping off point for a song they'll write and perform at the end of the day.. doesn't need to be the same chord progression, lyrics or tempo BUT something must be recogniseable.

Frank, although this cool idea would undoubtedly be scuppered by the flakiness of the drumming fraternity, this could easily be tweaked to be a really cool collaboration idea across t'internet,  Say everyone's name went into a hat and the they were randomly paired for a collaboration for one of @AntiqueGuitars challenges.
