Anyone used one? Or the Night Light Jr? I have used various attenuators: Hot Plate, Weber, Palmer, Sequis. Wondering how these compare in terms of tone, if anyone has direct experience

Yes, have the bigger one. Use it at home all the time with a low wattage amps. Mostly on a Viccy 5112. Also had it on a Bogner 15 watter for a while, and it was great with that. Think the limit is about 25 watts.

The lowest setting is ridiculously quiet with a 5 watt amp, so fairly pointless for that. It can be very easily modded apparently, to change how much attenuation you want on each setting.

Probably the least tone suckage of any attenuator I have tried, but not sure it is really a live tool. More for home/studio.
