I discussed this with mrchi a few weeks ago.  We'll use this thread to collect entries for the 2015 theFB calendar.  

For those who weren't here (or can't remember) last year, post your favourite guitar pics in this thread - your pics, your guitars (although you don't necessarily still have to own them) - and we three wise men admins will pic our favourite 4 pics each to use in the 2015 theFB calendar.  However, you'll also get to vote on your favourite pic which will then be used as the calendar cover, and the photo-taker will win a prize (their pic on a canvas).  

So, get your pics in now.  Entries close mid-Oct, we'll run the compo by the end of October, leaving plenty of time to get the calendars printed and through your letterboxes in plenty of time for the Christmas shopping rush ...

Hi all.

I love guitars (obviously) and I also love photography.

Combining the two to me is a no brainer!.

I am sure this has been done before but how about use this thread to show off our best Guitar related photos, I don't mean the best guitar, but the best guitar photo you have took your self.

If this thread proves popular enough, we could use it as the starting point for theFB's 2015 calendar, which we'll aim to get sorted BEFORE Christmas this year!

The best picture (of your own guitar) is the one which makes you put down your Laptop/Other device to Play That Guitar, each time you look at that picture.

If I am taking it outside then the context will be a part of the photo, the garden shed is erm, not really what I call a lovely backdrop lol

OK. Using my own criteria (must go play that guitar right now) as opposed to Composition, or anything important like that , it would be this one.
