So back in 2004 when I came to London, I couldn't play guitar. I played keys and made drum and bass and techno and strange IDM shit mostly. For some reason I started sliding into the world of guitar. So come 2007, as part of my Sonic Arts course, I ended up recording my own "prog rock" album - the concept was basically to mix the sonic arts 'idm' and 'glitch' influences with that of post-rock and metal.
I was pretty green at the time when it came to guitar so I used this as an opportunity to sow the seeds of what was to eventually become Tacoma.
It's a pretty interesting listening for me from a historical perspective... how I used to think about music back then for instance. I dunno... give it a listen, see what you think:
