Jaguar Trem Issue

I've just picked up a jag on here. I screwed the trem in and the receiver sleeve seems to have come undone under the trem arm. What's the easiest way of fixing? DO I have to remove the whole of the back assembly?

Do you mean the collet that holds the arm?
If so you need to take the plate off as it fastens on the back of the plate
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

And whatever you do, don't try to compress the collet to make it tighter - very brittle metal which snaps before it bends!
