The function of the Royal Marines School of Music (RMSoM) is to select, train and examine musicians and buglers of the highest quality in order to maintain musical excellence within the Naval Service. The RMSoM is an equal opportunities employer and has been recognised as an Investor in People. 

Primary Purposes of Professor of Bass Guitar 

To provide instruction/tuition to individual recruits of your instrumental category/categories to a minimum standard of M3/B3. 

To coach and advise individual students for RMSoM recitals and examinations. 

To maintain regular contact with instrumental instructors and discuss recruit progress. 

To provide monthly/special reports in liaison with instrumental instructors
