    The Robocop remake.

Fucking awful! Samuel L Jackson was criminally underused too.

I particularly liked the gang rape 'scene' in The Rum Diary last week...

    10 Cloverfield Lane

Tightly written, well acted thriller. Until the last 15 minutes where it all gets a bit silly. Good for a saturday night at home but I wouldn't pay for it.

    6/10
Watched it Saturday night and agree Sticky.

The most implausible thing in the last fifteen minutes for me was when she throws the Molotov cocktail.

No woman can throw that well.

    :D

Spy. Its exactly like the trailers suggest. Whether that's good or bad who knows but you won't be surprised or disappointed.

  • Warcraft: The Beginning.
Not as bad as 50 Shades of Black.  I did fall asleep during it as it was quite boring.  It was also too long.
It may not help that I do not know the source material.

    Point break - the remake.
Well produced extreme sports scenes (apparently surfing is not enough), but a much thinner plot than the original. Trying too hard.

I've seen a fair few recently: Alice through the looking glass (meh), warcraft (meh), son of saul (great film but by god I needed a drink afterwards) and finally the nice guys which I really liked.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Was going to see Warcraft but didn't bother in the end.

Angry Birds the Movie. Kill me now. What made it worse is that we were out with my sister and her kids. The older ones went to see x-men with my wife and my sis, and I got to take the little ones to angry birds with my mum. :(

Have seen that too with my guys from work.

A very few funny moments and that was it.
Not much to make a movie of really - shooting birds into pig structures. Yawn. Not that great in 3D either.

    Teen Titans vs Justice League

DC animated film. A slightly more teen version of the universe in a Manga esque style. A good story, not too long and really enjoyed it. Far better than a lot of the live action stuff around

That's what my wife and sister reported. I thought they were just softening the blow - it's good to have independent corroboration.

Oh, I had Bad Education on the other night. I actually quite like the TV series so I had it on for a sense of closure. After about ten minutes I drifted off into doing other things whilst it played in the background. I'm sure if I'd sat and concentrated/paid for it I'd be unhappy but I didn't, so if you like penis jokes as background TV this is the film for that.

That's got the guy who plays Ragnar in The Vikings hasn't it? Think he may be slightly typecasting himself into Epic Hero roles.

Meet the Millers. I rather guiltily enjoyed it but then I am in love with Jennifer Aniston so you probably shouldn't trust my opinion.

The last film I saw was 'Tales of the Grim Sleeper', which concerns the serial killer who was sentenced this week.

Flawed film, but quite an interesting perspective of the issue.
