There are more possible permutations of the 52 cards in a standard deck than there have been seconds SINCE the Big Bang.

You obviously went to the same site I did with your list !

Either way, I think the 52 cards one is bollocks.  It's too early for me to work out the permutations but it sounds bollocks at first glance.  I'm off for a swim now ! :-)

Doing a quick calculation gives me 1.066*(10^67) permuations for 52 cards. Bit of googling gives 6*(10^23) for seconds since big bang.

I get ~4.4e16 seconds, (14 billion years), and for some reason a slightly different answer for the permutations too, 52! ~= 8.1e67, though that might just be a calculator error, do it with Stirling's approximation and you get 4.5e66, which is within the expected error for the approximation (when numbers get this big an order of magnitude is approximation error).
Permutations multiply, counting (age, particles etc.) just adds, so permutations rapidly outnumber objects.

(For anyone thinking I'm really excited about the number 52, '!' is also a mathematical operation.)
