Well, so much for trying to reduce the number of guitars I have. And I thought I'd done so well after lasting a whole 3.5 months since the last purchase aha :P

Also I know this is extremely vague, but waiting til it arrives for the grand reveal. So if people feel like playing the guessing game until then, so ahead ;)

Predictive text seems to have changed the word "good" to "bad" in the title there.

It's not too late - you can click EDIT and change it.

    I hope that helps!

No, long thought out, impulse buys are the best.......

This is like the opposite of a support group, where everyone just encourages you to continue feeding the addiction :D

    buy my Godin!
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

One of the Fender Pawn Shop models?  Not Gibson-y, vintage-y but not actually vintage....

Personally I find my impulse buys are mistakes, more often than not.  Expensive impulse buys are maybe less likely to be mistakes, just because they're better guitars, but if they are mistakes.... they're expensive mistakes.

On the other hand, purchases I contemplate for months or even years can turn out to be mistakes too, when I eventually cave in.

So what the hell, if you've got the money go for it.

Closest so far, older than those just not a true "vintage" model as anyone would think of it
