I've no affiliation with Zilla but worth including them in here.

Paul is a great guy to deal with and I'm been very impressed with the cabs I've had from him.

Here's my two 2x12s (one I bought used via the old MR forum, the other was an ex-demo one I bought directly from Zilla)

Then I did a custom order for a 1x12. With Zilla you get to choose the tolex, piping, grill cloth etc etc.

They also go "amp sleeves" for your lunch box amps (these aren't mine btw)

  • Yeah I got a 2 x 12 cab off Paul with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30s.  Sounds awesome, weighs a freaking tonne.  I put mega-heavy-duty castors on it and it's good to go.  It sounds as good as my Marshall 1960A cab I reckon.

    Lots of e-mails exchanged, of which Paul never got frustrated, and without ever seeing the amp he made this (the head) into that (the combo).....top job.

    @dindude, if you don't mind me asking, how much did this job cost you?

    @ddlooping I think it was £290. Not cheap but also not bad value considering it was a one-off job that took a lot of email exchages etc, I had made up my mind the CARR was an amp for life* so wanted to do it properly.

    *I reserve the right to change my mind on this at any time now or in the future.

    He's supplying the back line at a festival in Wales we're playing next May, hoping to meet him.

    He turned my AC30cc into this sexy beast;

    I was pondering the notion of getting a shiny new all-pine cab for my Fender Princeton Reverb.
    I emailed Zilla, and asked if they did replica Fender cabinets. They emailed back to say it would be no problem.
    I lost interest in the idea, but I'm sure it would've been excellent!

    I've been very pleased with my Zilla cab.  It's a mini modern, black on green tolex, black grill,, white piping and a Celestion G12H30.  The build quality is excellent and it sounds spot on.  Here it is with my Jooky Esquire and Mesa Transatlantic.
