Non custom shop, ceramic pickups. The main interest is the artist signature and the wiring mods. The R9 is a much better guitar,

Doesn't it have a totally mad amount of switching/sound options? not a fan of too many personally. I wired my no 1 guitar for a vast amount of options, but eventually stripped right back to just 3 and it's perfect like that

    Ceramic  pickups? Didn't expect that...
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

so you didnt have a whole lotta love for it?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I didn't say that, I guess it was a communication breakdown.

    These guitars are "an investment".
7 different people have told me this.

Ok - they all had a les paul jimmy page model for sale. But that doesn't mean it isn't true.

  • I'd much rather have the Number 1 replica.

I'd much rather have the Number 1 replica.
    -------------------------------------------------------
I'd rather have the No.2 replica - that's the one with 21 tone combinations and the switches under the fingerboard

I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

  • Tried JP wiring scheme - tone robbing soab - ripped it back out & put a lovely shugs loom in but kept the out of phase option for greener moments
    Seemed like a good idea.....

  • I'd really like a #2 so I could sell it and put a deposit on a house..!

  • Well if you like thin sounding Les Pauls then Mr Page is your man.

Played a few of these and they are average at best. But you do get a fancy case with a signature on the shroud, so it must be worth more.
