NewPartscasterDay: Squier Esquire....

Been messing about with this for a few months, had it in various guises. It was a Squier Standard Fat Tele.

New 'plate, the neck of my Squier Deluxe Strat. It will be getting @theguitarweasel Oil City Honky Tonk and a proper Esquire switching system but with the Mike Eldred tone mod instead of the woolly bass thing.


It sounds great as it is actually and plays really well. I didn't even have to alter the action or bridge height when I swapped the neck. Very happy so far.

    That is the greenest thing ever.  I have not a single care what it sounds like, I just know I want it, because of the epic degree of greenishness.

    @fuzzdog They occasionally pop up on eBay. Mine was £40 IIRC.

    Don't tell me things like that, I'll be stuck to the PC for days. :D

    It's sooooo hard to find green Strat bodies which aren't either the colour of snot, or some 'surf green' degree of nongreenness.

    Errr, so does that mean that the Squier Deluxe body is going begging ? :-)

    Nice Esquire BTW, love a single pickup guit me !
