So now I've scratched my LP itch with my latest purchase - DBZ (Dean) Bolero FM in Antique.

Following the shifting of my Ibanez, I had a spin on this guitar and can't fault it to be fair - mahogany/maple with some nice scraped binding, pair of humbuckers (splittable) and one or two DBZ styling quirks. Sounds lovely and plays a treat. Certainly rattled the windows in the shop through the all valve H&K head I was playing through ;)

    I just had a thoroughly enjoyable blast on this plugged in - sounds bloody brilliant and ticks all the LP boxes for me. Lovely feel as well - I could dig in and give it some welly.

    That  is one mighty fine looking guitar you've got your hands on there.
    I think it is one of the classiest designs, based on an LP template, that I've seen for many a year.
    Is is a single volume and tone? I can't see a way to blend the two pickups.

    When I first set eyes on it, I wasn't sure about that body carve - it grew on me though. Korean made but the quality is spot on and I don't see any need to swap the pups to be honest. As I say, it's everything I want from an LP and despite the construction, it doesn't weigh a ton.

    I really like the slightly more 'pinched' design around the middle.  It looks like a different guitar that's inspired by, rather than a copy.  

    Honestly, I really love the looks of these.  That 'slash' in the top is great, too!
